How To Draw All The Things!

As the season of presents and giftmaking and celebrating begins, I want to dig into something I've heard a lot of sighs and groans about: drawing or sketching what you want to make. I was trained in costume design school to sketch out my ideas as a mean to communicate with directors, costume makers... about what my costume ideas should look like. So in the next week, I'll be sharing some tips, advice & ideas on how to sketch and draw your ideas for sewing projects and make them really useful for your practice. Every day there will be a post with tips following that day's theme such as techniques, books, resources... We'll also have a guest post by Anneke from AnnetteTirette who is a trained Illustrator and she'll show us how to make your sketches so beautiful you'll want to put them on your wall.
