The last couple of months, I've learned a lot of things online. I'd like to share a couple of those with you. Maybe they can help you too.
#1 Liesl and Todd of Oliver+S share the results of their customer survey on the subject of
paper patters vs. PDF's. They also explain how they will continue paper patterns and why.
#2 Megan Nielsen teaches
how to make scrap yarn. I want a basket.
#3 I secretely admire people who embroider for their patience. This is a great podcast with
Rebecca Ringquist. She talks all things embroidery with my favorite host: Abby Glassenberg on the While She Naps podcast.
#4 This is often used in lingerie making, but also useful when your fabric refuses to press into shape:
edgestitching.
#5 My friend and business partner Caroline shared why she started to work in a
non-creative field again. Sometimes, loving what you do simply isn't enough.
What did you learn last week?
