What I've learned last week #28

what I've learned last week rontgen shirt The last couple of months, I've learned a lot of things online. I'd like to share a couple of those with you. Maybe they can help you too. #1 OMG. I'm a sucker for ballet ever since I started costume design and worked together with a set of really talented ballet dancers. The control a good dancer has over his/her body is crazy. This video took my breath away. I watched it 5 times straight. #2 I recently discovered that I actually love sewing shirts. I learned a lot of new techniques and other construction processes already by making a couple shirts! This website from a shop that sells custom made shirts has great references on shirt making and appropriate fabrics! #3 Great post on the difference between a couturier and a tailor. Add in some extra gorgeous photographs and a full article on how to work with a bespoke tailor and you are talking my language! #4 These packaging designs by Romanian artist and illustrator Aitch are making me smile big time. I find The Jealous Curator one of the most inspiring sites for art and art class ideas. Great curation of contemporary artists and their work! #5 A closer look at sleeve heads in the Chanel Couture collection (A/W2014) with ideas on how to apply it in your own designs. What did you learn last week?
