What I've learned last week #16
The last couple of months, I've learned a lot of things online. I'd like to share a couple of those with you. Maybe they can help you too.
#1 I loved The September Issue, a documentary on the making of Vogue's iconic September edition. Here's a thoughtful article on why we need more of those documentaries and less Fashion Reality TV. I agree.
#2 Boning isn't just for corsets. Threads has an awesome article on how to include boning to give your garments more stability.
#3 Is something a time asset or a time debt? Do you win or lose time by performing a certain action. Food for thought.
#4 Very useful for short girls: How to make a pattern petite.
#5 Colette Patterns is releasing a new online Sewing Magazine: "Seamwork" next year. I'm very excited about this since reading is my n°1 favorite hobby (amongst sewing, but easier to do on trains). You can sign up here to stay up-to-date.
