If you said to yourself "I'm not buying any fabric untill my stash is a little smaller..." You should never ever enter a fabric store... That's as easy as straight sewing... If you do enter a fabric store... oeps stofjesMaar nu we die dan toch in het vizier hebben, kunnen we evengoed naar de details en de plannen kijken. Toch? Well, since I own these pieces now, we might as well take a closer look at details and ideas! detailsDe bovenste is een wit katoentje met turkooise bollen. The upper fabric is a white cotton with turkois dots. I found it at a local fabric shop, I don't think it has a known designer, but I might be mistaken... I totally picture myself strawling through the city enjoying sunshine. I would love to give Colette's Crepe a try with thes fabric. And yes, I was inspired by the version they showcase on their website! The second one is a double-gauze cotton by Nani Iro. I found it at Julija's in Antwerp. It was on the more expensive side, so I only got 1.5 meters. Still debating wether I'll make a Laurel top or a tanktop with a little collar...I had the pattern for a Laurel top already pinned onto my fabric, but now I'm not sure. Any ideas? Last but not least... nog een double-gauze katoentje van Nani Iro. Last but not least is another double-gauze cotton by Nani Iro. Mondays Milk was having a sale, so I had to buy this fabric. I drooled over this fabric for quite some time now, so I allowed myself to get it! Even though it had to come all the way from the Netherlands, it arrived within 2 days after ordering! That's what I call good service! I also plan on making a dress with this fabric, but I haven't decided on the pattern yet. Maybe I'll draft something myself, we'll see. So, do you ever break promises concerning your stash? Fijn weekend! Ik ga zomerjurkjes naaien voor mooiere dagen! Enjoy your weekend! I'll be sewing the bad weather away! P.S.: I might or might not have added Negroni, Crepe, Peony and the Robson coat to my pattern collection...
